SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it truly is alarmed about the substantial amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area daily. The services stage produced for intervention experiences a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all shoppers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
